Gothia Science Park, Gothia Innovation and The University of Skövde are the home of Northern Europe’s most comprehensive cluster of young emergent game developers. The University of Skövde hosts Sweden’s largest Computer Games education and conducts considerable research within serious games and entertainment. Gothia Science Park holds a justifiable number of game studios, at present 14 and counting. These game studios have published well over a dozen productions for platforms such as PS3, Xbox 360, Iphone, Android, PC etc.
At The Campus and The Science Park some 500 people are connected to the Game Industry.
Gothia Innovation also has a national responsibility from the government to support the game industry, which allows us to gather and support all the emerging companies in the industry under a national cooperation called The Game Incubator Network.
Gothia Innovation is a non-profit company and is financed via the municipality of Skövde, The Region of West Sweden and Innovationsbron AB - a company directly owned by the Swedish government, assigned to develop innovation and growth from Universities in Sweden.

Swedish Game Conference will be held in Gothia Science Park's main building - Portalen - located at Kanikegränd 3 in Skövde. Only 5 minutes walking distance from the central station. See map below.
